About me
I’m the Founder of Humans in the Loop, a social enterprise which supplies diverse and high-quality human input for AI systems. To date, we have provided remote digital jobs and training to more than 1000 refugees and conflict-affected people in Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Lebanon, Portugal and Ukraine.
In addition, I am a Board member of ForHumanity, a nonprofit which crowdsources and promotes audit standards for AI and autonomous systems. I am also a Cofounder of the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence for high school students.
I hold a degree in Human Rights from Columbia University.

MODIVO Fall Winter 2023/2024
I was the Bulgarian model in the FW collection promotional campaign of MODIVO, called “Express yourself”, which tells the personal stories of 5 women from different European countries.
2023 Cartier Women's Initiative
I won the 1st prize in Europe in the Carter Women’s Initiative, a year-long fellowship with a $100,000 prize for my organization, awarded at a ceremony in Salle Pleyel in Paris in May 2023.
Aurora Tech Award
In 2023 I won 2nd place in the Aurora Tech Award organized by inDrive which rewards women social entrepreneurs from around the world. I am grateful for their support and for the $20,000 prize for our work at Humans in the Loop.
2022 EU Prize for Women Innovators
In December 2022 I was at the EIC summit in Brussels for the announcement of the winners of the Prize for Women Innovators, where I was selected in the Rising Innovators under 35 category with a 50,000 EUR prize.
BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders Network
After a lovely summit in Nauen in autumnal Germany in Fall 2022, I am delighted to officially join the Responsible Leaders Network by the BMW Foundation Herbert Quandt and to take part in this amazing community of leaders.
SOCAP Global Entrepreneur Program
SOCAP is one of the leading impact investing conferences in the US and I was happy to be selected as one of the social entrepreneurs who were invited to attend and to pitch in front of attendees in late 2022.
Humans in the Loop turns 5 years old!
In September 2022 we celebrated 5 years since Humans in the Loop was established in 2017. It was a wonderful occasion which brought together our team, partners, beneficiaries, and friends.
European Young Leaders (EYL40)
I am extremely happy to share that I am among the 2022 class of European Young Leaders under 40 selected by the organization Friends Of Europe. It’s really an honor to be part of an amazing group of 40 young people across Europe.
Bulgaria Innovation Hub Female Fellowship Program
Very grateful to have been able to participate in Bulgaria Innovation Hub’s 2022 program through a fellowship together with my dear friend Maya Zlatanova to travel to San Francisco and connect with the local startup ecosystem.
MIT SOLVE winners
In 2021, Humans in the Loop became the first organization in Eastern Europe to have been selected by MIT SOLVE and their renowned prize for social enterprises worth $50,000. In Spring of 2022, I had the chance to attend the Solve@MIT graduation event.
Humans in the Loop at the World Expo in Dubai
My team and I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the World Expo in Dubai in 2021 as part of the Expo Live Program for Global Innovators. I got to pitch at the Good Place pavilion and to participate in the World Majlis conference.
ChangemakerXChange
As a young social entrepreneur, I was facing many challenges with starting and scaling my organization, and the 2018 ChangemakerXchange program was incredibly helpful for my personal growth, for which I am immensely grateful.
Dubai Expo Live Innovation Impact Program
In 2019 Humans in the Loop was just in its beginnings, and the first major organization which recognized our potential and provided us with our first funding of 100,000 USD was Expo Live, and this was pivotal for our growth.
Forbes 30 under 30 Class of 2018
Being selected as a Forbes 30 under 30 nominee in my home country so early on in my journey was an immense recognition and it has been really impactful to be part of the 30under30 community and brand globally.
Telenor Youth Forum Bulgarian delegate
In 2018 I had the opportunity to represent Bulgaria with my dear friend Iva Tsolova at the Telenor Youth Forum, organized in cooperation with the Nobel Peace Center, in Norway and Thailand.
Pitching at the Techfugees Global Summit
In 2017, the idea for Humans in the Loop was first shared to the public at the main stage of the Techfugees Global Summit, organized in Paris, which gathered tech actors and humanitarian organizations addressing the refugee crisis together.
